Maps & Smiles is free to read. To help cover the cost of running it, some of our pages contain affiliate links.

What that means

An affiliate link is a link to a retailer where, if you buy something after clicking it, we may receive a small commission. It costs you nothing extra — the price you pay is exactly the same as it would be otherwise.

Where a link is an affiliate link we mark it clearly, both on the page and in any Pinterest pin that carries one.

What it does not mean

A commission never buys a recommendation. We only link to things we have used ourselves or would happily buy, and a negative verdict stays negative regardless of whether there is a link on the page. Our guides about attractions are not affiliate content and we are not paid by the venues we review.
